ASSIGNMENT 1: Physical and Chemical Properties and Changes
1. Look at your notes, text, or Internet to find out what these four terms mean: Physical Property, Chemical Property, Physical Change, Chemical Change
2. Find and copy 4 pictures to your : 1 showing a physical property, 1 showing a chemical property, 1 showing a physical change, 1 showing a chemical change.
3. Place the images on your wiki page under the heading "ASSIGNMENT 1: Physical and Chemical Properties and Changes" and include a 1-2 paragraph explanation like my example below. Note: each image is worth 3 points and each correct sentence is worth 2 points for a total of 20 points.

A physical change takes place when the ice cube is a solid, then changing to a liquid, water. The ice cube melted or in its solid state will still be a physical change as long as the chemical composition remains the same, a chemical change has not occurred.
Leaves changing into different colors is both a chemical change, but also a chemical property. Its an example of a chemical change because the leaves go from a green leave to a colored leaf. This happens because of the chemical balance between the green and colored leaf.
This here is an example of a chemical property. Acid rain over time reacts with this metal pole, and chemical change takes place and the acid rain and this metal pole forms a new substances, rust.
This is an example of physical properties because the mini cooper went from an orginal red to a blue. It is the same car, but the color just changed.
